Units shall be covered under the GMP only for normal use and reasonable wear and tear. The following are excluded from coverage under the GMP and this Agreement:
1)   No Trouble Found (NTF) parts will not be reimbursed and will be returned at no Costs for Hapag-Lloyd to the Service Performer or Hapag-Lloyd depot in Rotterdam or Antwerp.
2)   Consumables such as refrigerant (this is paid only if there is a Freon leak), Power plugs, cables, fuses, splice kits, and service valve caps.
3)   Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) service, container repositioning, storage or lifts.
4)   Components that are replaced because of damage (rust/corrosion of electronic parts as a result of improper operation, accident, impact), abuse, neglect or improper service (service by other than Service Performers or use of unauthorized non-standard parts and modifications).
5)   Theft of any part.
6)   Costs resulting from changes in legislation relating to refrigerants and working practices.
7)   Refrigerant changes at Hapag-Lloyd’s requests. The cost of these changes will be charged and invoiced outside this Agreement; provided, however, that the service cost of any newly installed refrigerant approved by Thermo King will be accepted under the GMP after the change. No changes will be accepted unless the refrigerant proposed is approved by Thermo King.
8)   GMP coverage for condensers/compressor: Any repairs or replacements of condensers or compressors shall be pre-authorized by Thermo King and the local Service Performer.
