SWR 5168 - Release Notification (General Release)

Attached are the software files for use with an ML2i / ML3 controller on a Recip compressor units.
This is an ML3 release only. updated configuration file embedded in the software revision.

There are two different xxx.m2x menu files.

If you are using a 4 MB SRAM card use the xxx.M2x.4096 file.
If you are using a 2 MB SRAM card use the xxx.M2x.2048 file.
The card image MUST be installed to the card using “PC Card Manager” application

Operational changes

Designations have been placed in front of the release notes as to controller type, ML3, ML2i. If a RecipScroll designation is in front of the release note then this indicates that the action was also included in both releases.


1. Configuration File Revision : Updated software to include the configuration database cf200331.cf3
2. No unit operational Software changes.

RMM (Remote Monitoring Modem)

Enabling powerline communication to your refrigerated container for around the clock monitoring.

The RMM (Remote Monitoring Modem) is the key component in power-line communication for monitoring and control of reefer containers. 

Each container equipped with an RMM is able to send data on its operating conditions and alarms to a central monitoring system.  

Besides monitoring, the RMM can be used to remotely control various reefer container functions, which include changing the setpoint, initiating defrost, and activating automatic pre-trip inspection.
